SciFi and Fantasy Art: Azure Cavern

This was a request from my boyfriend, he wanted an ice dragon in an ice cave guarding its horde. I've never drawn a dragon with treasure before and I think he underestimated what he was asking in requesting this. Coins took about 20 hours, but I was determined to draw every single one. What's the point of having treasure if it's distant and blurry? I wanted it to look like you could reach out and grab a coin, I think I succeeded.

You are brilliant with drawing coins! If I did that all the coins would be different sizes... Anyway, are the horns different? Go questions! Wait... I got the paw thing. The left one should have the 'thumb' on the other side, but you had either- already made it and forgotten and were afraid of making it look bad, or, it was intended for the right paw, but turned into the left paw for some reason, and if you changed it, the whole thing may go wrong. happy
